Your booking will be confirmed in real-time and your credit card/debit card charged in advance for the full cost of the booking. For cancellations see the cancellation policy below.
If you cancel your booking giving more than 48 hours notice you will receive a full refund less a 5% cancellation fee. In order to receive a refund, notice must be received by the hostel by 10 am Cairns time, two days prior to arrival.We will refund the balance onto the same credit card that you booked with.
If you cancel your booking giving less than 48 hours notice or fail to arrive, a cancellation fee equivalent to one nights' stay per room will be incurred in the case where your booking was for one night only, and a cancellation fee equivalent to two nights' stay per room will be incurred where your booking was for two nights or more. We will refund the balance onto the same credit/debit card that you booked with. Non-arrival will result in the cancellation of your entire reservation. Any changes to your booking must be notified to and are at the discretion of Cairns City Backpackers.

By making a reservation with your credit / debit card you authorize Cairns City Backpackers to charge that same card any damage caused by you to the hostel buildings or facilities up to the amount required to repair/replace such buildings or facilities back to the same condition it was in prior to such damage without further reference to you. .
